Course Description
The MIST capstone process includes research, planning, development, evaluation and presentation of a substantial project related to instructional science and technology. The topics of the Capstones are based upon individual students’ passion, expertise, educational goals and career goals. The Capstones also showcase students’ learning achievements in the MIST program. MIST Capstones cover a wide spectrum of projects: instructional unit creation, learning system development, e-learning plan, performance improvement, case study and empirical research. They all integrate real-world learning and performance issues with advanced information technology, the unique feature of the MIST program. The Capstone presentations are conducted as a conference session, in which students present their capstone projects. Learning Outcomes
